I fell in love with Silver while creating my very first piece of jewelry with it. It was love at first touch.
Whether as a decoration piece, a medicine or in rituals, Silver has been part of our daily life since ancient times. Its remarkable physical and metaphysical properties have given Silver strong leading position in both tech and occult fields.
It is believed Silver draws its powers both from the Earth and the Moon and so brings a sense of balance in Life. Being closely related to the Moon, Silver helps to get in touch with our own emotions and intuition. In the same time its kin with Earth holds us grounded, allowing peace and clarity.
For our creations I use Silver either by itself alone or in combination with gemstones. Silver is able to attract, retain and enhance the qualities emitted by the stones. It performs a balancing act by drawing negativity from body and space while transferring the positive energies of minerals and gems. It is this type of balance that makes Silver an amazing tool to use with crystals and gemstones.
Here are few examples of how Silver works with different Gemstones:
Silver x Lapis Lazuli:
Lapis Lazuli encourages self-awareness and taking charge of our own life. It helps us express ourselves safely and empowering without holding back. With the help of Silver, we build a strong foundation from which we state our position with integrity, honesty and compassion.
Silver x Citrine:
Drawing its powers from the Sun, Citrine is a symbol of joy and abundance. Together with Silver, it forms a mighty union - Silver reflects away negative energies and keeps the body safe, while Citrine fills it up with happiness and delight.
Silver x Moonstone:
With their strong connection to the Moon both Silver and Moonstone bestow a depth of feeling, a gentleness within the self that brings calmness and happiness. Associated with the feminine, Moonstone enhances the intuitive & creative side of the mind.
Silver x Clear Quartz
As a mirror of the soul, Silver helps to see one’s own mind objectively. When used together with a Clear Quartz, we are able to release the negativity from our mind and tune in to higher planes. With the help of both we enter and hold on to meditative states with greater ease.
Of course Silver is widely used in many other spheres – electronics, medicine and photography, just to name a few. And since jewelry making is our forte, we'll leave those for you to explore alone.
